Stewart Transaction Solutions Proudly Announces the Release of AIM for Windows Version 5.5 AIM 5.5 increases productivity with its many new features and enhancements, including: - Improved transaction tracking capabilities (such as Title and Escrow, Title Only, Escrow only etc.) for the SISCO data warehouse and enterprise reporting initiatives.
- Enhanced contact and customer management by adding fields to track:
- Emails
- Roles
- Source of Business
- Improved ability to manage packages of documents going to SureClose.
- Prevention of fraud by ability to control disbursements of funds from dormant escrow accounts.
- Enhanced automation and productivity features in the closing module including auto-updates from Order entry.
- Usability and other enhancements for electronic reporting on policies and 1099.
General Information: Key features added in AIM for Windows 5.5: System Setup: - Permissions to Hold/Release funds on a file are granted within the AIM account
- Setup data can only be printed by users with rights to System Setup
Order Entry: - An Order Type field has been added to the Order screen; there is a shipped list of Order Types and the ability to add custom Order Types
- Buyers and Sellers can be selected from a drop down and the information populates from System Setup.
- Ability to select any buyer, seller, and or lender on the Order within the Customer Tab· Loan Type field has been removed from the Order screen and is now available within the Lender Tab
- Agent ID description is viewable within the Agent ID dropdown on the Order Screen·
- Users can assign a Role to contacts
- Multiple contacts can be associated with one Lender/Customer but save independently from each other.
- Contact phone number has its own column in the Contacts grid
- Volume/Book field can support 8 characters: 2006-123
Document Formatting/Production: - The Agent ID element pulls the Agent ID to the document
- Agent ID value from Order Information flows to Single Line Elements
- Remittance Single Line Element can now accept 0.00 value
- Property Type, Other Residential, has been added
- Transaction Codes save to Policy Register in the order they are keyed
- Documents can be marked as "Required to Send" or "Optional"
Closing: - The ability to update Escrow Accounting when checks, receipts, and wires are cancelled in the Disbursement Worksheet
- Sections 800,900, and 1000 reflect the second Lender in the event the Lender is the same for 1st and 2nd loans
- Pro-ration is an option in Line 901 in the From and To fields in Closing Setup· Lines 901 and 1009 can display 0.00 amounts
- The Headers on the Closing Statements and Disbursement Worksheets are customizable.· HUD lines 700-702,801-802,1101,1108,1202-1205 auto-calculate when the Sales Price or Loan Amount change in the HUD or in the Order
- Commission Percentage and Payees entered in the Order flow to section 700 of the HUD, changes made to the Commission and or the Payees in section 700 of the HUD and or the Order update
- Two loans can be split on the Disbursement Worksheet when the loans have the same Lender
Reporting: - The Z Reports and the FDS Utility Reports, custom reports created by First Data Systems, are now integrated
- Held Funds report has been added to the Escrow Accounting Reports
Escrow Accounting: - Integrated the Quick Reconciliation program
- The property address field now includes the unit number and unit type
- Hold/Release Funds functionality; funds are placed on hold when there is no activity for a predefined amount of days (90-180). Funds cannot be disbursed on a file where the funds are on hold via check writer, wire writer, or batch posting
Policy Register: - Agent ID descriptions can be added to the Agent ID setup in Policy Register, the description is visible within the Agent ID drop down in the Order screen
- Policy Register Report accommodates SISCO and Non-SISCO maximum lengths for type, prefix, and serial number
- A detailed message is returned to the user when attempting to make an Adjustment, Void, or In Lieu of on a policy or endorsement that has been transmitted but not marked complete by Electronic Policy Reporting (EPR)
1099 Module: - The 1099-S file can no longer be saved to the A:, the IRS no longer accepts this file on diskettes
AFW Positive Pay Utility: - When using the SecurePay option, check numbers are now padded with zeros so they are 14 characters in length
